Position Overview

We are seeking a Contents Restoration Technician to join our growing team. This is a field-based, customer-facing role that involves travel to job sites, handling customer belongings, and performing detailed documentation and restoration support.
This position requires someone who is dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Territory & Travel Expectations
· This position primarily services Eastern Pennsylvania (Williamsport and east)
· Daily travel is required and may include several hours of driving per day
· Job locations vary and may change frequently
· Candidates must be comfortable spending a significant portion of their workday on the road
· Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on job location and scheduling needs
· When overnight travel is required, hotel accommodations are provided and a per diem is included
Compensation & Work Schedule
· Hourly pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience)
· No on-call responsibilities
· Overtime is expected, especially during busy seasons
· Additional hours are driven by workload and job demand
· When not on job sites, technicians are expected to assist in the warehouse with cleaning, processing, and preparation work
· Typical annual earnings range from $50,000 to $70,000+, with higher earning potential for those who take advantage of overtime opportunities and remain consistently productive
Key Responsibilities
· Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites
· Perform on-site inventory, documentation, and labeling using company systems
· Obtain necessary signatures and complete required paperwork
· Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and insurance representatives
· Safely load, transport, and unload contents
· Assist with cleaning, processing, and storage of items in the warehouse
· Deliver restored items back to customers with care and accuracy
· Maintain organized job notes, photos, and updates in the company system
· Follow company safety policies and quality standards
Work Environment
· Work is performed in homes and buildings affected by fire, water, and other property damage
· Conditions may include properties without power, heat, or climate control
· This is a physical role that may involve lifting, standing, and working in challenging environments
· Work primarily involves handling textiles (clothing, fabrics, soft goods) and electronics
· Occasional involvement with hard contents such as furniture and household items
Requirements
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Ability to pass background check and drug screening
· Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work safely
· Strong communication and customer service skills

· Comfortable using mobile devices or tablets for documentation
